Thinking of getting started with matched betting in the UK, but wondering which matched betting site is the best?
Matched betting software is absolutely crucial for anyone who is serious about making money from this profitable betting strategy. Without it, you won’t be able to use your bonuses and promotions efficiently and you will make much less money.
However, there are many different matched betting sites and services out there, so it is difficult for a beginner to know which one is the best.
In this article, I will be comparing them to help you figure out which one is right for you!

What Should You Consider When Choosing A Matched Betting Site?
Before we start comparing each of the sites, let’s take a quick look at the most important things we should consider when choosing a matched betting service.
Price
Pretty straightforward! We’re here to make money, and every extra dollar that we spend on a subscription fee is a dollar less in profit at the end of the month.
Frequency of promo updates
The promotions offered by the bookmakers are the main way we make money as matched bettors!
A premium matched betting service should provide you with an update of all available promos at least once a day, to make sure you aren’t missing out on anything!
Odds comparison tools
Being able to compare the odds for multiple bookmakers and multiple matches allows you to rapidly find the most profitable bet on which to activate your bookmaker promotion. Without this, you are left to go hunting for the bets yourself.
Calculators
Backing and laying bets at an exchange is complicated, especially when you consider the commission that the exchange takes. An easy to use calculator will ensure you never make any mistakes.
Matched betting tutorials
Beginners to matched betting will find the concept and the jargon a little confusing at first.
What is a 4 leg accumulator? What does it mean to back a bet vs. to lay a bet? A good matched betting service should have plenty of tutorials to help you get your head around it all.
Community
Some of the promos offered by the bookmakers can be quite complicated and it can be difficult to get your head around how to actually take advantage of them!
Having fellow matched bettors to chat to in a community allows you to bounce ideas off them and get some advice when you need it.
Best Matched Betting Sites in the UK
Well, now that we know what we should be looking for in a matched betting site, let’s compare the following 4 best matched betting sites in the UK:
If you don’t have time to read the full review, here’s my overall rating for each of them, along with their monthly price.
Price (monthly) | Overall Rating | |
---|---|---|
£20 | ||
£20 | ||
£8 (£97/yr) | ||
Free |
Let’s now take it a little further and compare each of them on the basis of the criteria discussed earlier.
Price | Tutorials/ Guides | Odds Matcher | Community | Customer Service | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
£20 | Good | Yes | Good | Average | |
£20 | Good | Yes | Good | Good | |
£8 | Average | Yes | Good | Average | |
Free | Good | NO | Good | Average |
Essentially, OddsMonkey and Profit Accumulator are the absolute best matched betting sites for those living in the UK. They have fantastic tutorials and guides, an incredible number of calculators for taking advantage of specific promotions as well as superb odds matching software.
I would recommend them to anyone interested in getting started with matched betting.
Profit Maximiser is an interesting beast.
It has plenty of matched betting content, but also shows you how to make money from financial spread betting products, online bingo offers and also online casino offers (including the medium to high risk - but positive expected value - offers that the others don’t touch).
Profit Maximiser is more of a general online money making tool. It is very highly regarded in this space. I recommend it for those who are happy to consider other forms of making money online outside of sports betting.
Finally, Team Profit is an excellent free resource, with fantastic matched betting guides.
Unfortunately, it has NO odds matching software and very limited calculators, making it more of an educational resource rather than a fully fledged matched betting service.
It’s daily promos however, are done better than OM and PA, so why not use it in conjunction with them (it is free, after all!).
Want more detail on each of these sites? Check out the individual reviews below!
1. OddsMonkey - Best Matched Betting Site
OddsMonkey is the most popular matched betting site in the world - and with good reason! It has earned its reputation by providing an outstanding matched betting software package since its inception in 2011.
Matched Betting Tutorials
OddsMonkey has an outstanding number of tutorials to bring you up to speed on the concepts behind matched betting. They ease you in gently with some beginner friendly tutorials, such as those below:

In total, they have over 50 guides and tutorials on a whole range of topics, from how to use various types of promotions, to how to use their software most effectively.
They provide a rating for each of their tutorials (easy, medium or hard) to let you know how much experience with matched betting you should have before using the techniques described.

There are also plenty of video guides, if you prefer video over text.

Promos
A running list of promotions is key to any successful matched betting service. OddsMonkey have a constantly-updated list of promotions that are split into new bookmaker signup bonuses, as well as ongoing daily and reload offers.
The signup bonuses are rated based on their difficulty to unlock the profit, which is a nice feature for those who are new to matched betting.

In addition to listing the bookmaker signup bonuses, they also have a list of bookmakers that they don’t recommend that you sign up with, as their sign up bonuses have high wagering requirements or are otherwise difficult to complete.
This list includes some bookmakers who have been known to ban accounts before it is even possible to complete the bonus.

This is a fantastic feature and it can save you from quite a few headaches.
The daily offers are updated regularly, and include an estimate of the expected value or profit that you will receive by completing the offer, based on a typical qualifying loss.
I really like this, as it allows you to see at a glance which offers are worth your time, and which aren’t.

As you can see, the first offer worth only £1.18 probably isn’t worth your time unless you can complete it in less than a few minutes.
Odds Matching Software
OddsMonkey have the OddsMatcher, their famous tool for comparing the odds across thousands of bookmakers and tens of bookmakers and betting exchanges.
You will spend a lot of time on the OddsMatcher, as it shows you how to most efficiently use your bookmaker promotions and maximise your profits.
You can change the filters on the OddsMatcher to make it run as a dutching software too.

Betting Calculators
OddsMonkey has over 16 calculators to help you determine your optimal stakes and expected profit from a wide variety of bookmaker promotions and bonuses.
These promotions often come with complicated terms and conditions, so having these calculators makes it easy to work out how to best exploit the promotion for profit.

There are also a number of spreadsheets you can take advantage of, to help you with particular promotions.

Community
OddsMonkey has a thriving community on their matched betting forum on their website.

This forum is a great opportunity for you to ask questions of fellow matched bettors and OddsMonkey staff.
The other members of the forum are more than happy to help out new members, as well as discuss advanced strategies. If you have a new idea to make money from a promotion, you can use the forums to bounce ideas off fellow members.
The OddsMonkey staff are quite active in these forums.
Pricing
OddsMonkey has two pricing options:
- A monthly subscription for £20
- An annual subscription for £150 (equivalent to £12.50 per month)

Whilst £20 certainly isn’t expensive compared to the value you will be getting (you will pay this back very, very quickly) there are also cheaper options out there.
Personally, a few quid isn’t with quibbling over when you consider how much you will be making with matched betting. I wouldn’t let the price alone put you off OddsMonkey if you like everything else about them.
OddsMonkey offer a free trial which includes a surprising amount of access to their tools and calculators. Try it out via the button below.
2. Profit Accumulator
Profit Accumulator was founded in 2014, and has rapidly become the 2nd most popular matched betting site in the UK.
So, how does it stack up against the competition? Let’s find out!
Matched Betting Tutorials
Much like OddsMonkey, Profit Accumulator has a number of detailed guides and tutorials to help you learn the basics of matched betting.

As you get more confident, you can move onto their other tutorials and guides, which cover more advanced topics.
Promos
Promotions, bonuses and other offers from the bookmakers are updated regularly and posted on the site.
They claim to post more offers than any other matched betting site, which results in more profit for their members.
Odds Matching Software
Profit Accumulator has excellent odds matching software with tons of filters and options to help you find the perfect bet to use your promotion on.

Betting Calculators
As you would expect, they have a number of calculators, ranging from simple back/lay calculators, up to advanced calculators which you can use for complicated promotions offered by a select few bookmakers.
Community
Profit Accumulator has a thriving forum of thousands of members who are eager to share and discuss all things related to making money from bookmakers.
Customer Support
Unlike other matched betting services, Profit Accumulator actually have a dedicated phone number for support and customer queries. It operates every day from 9am to 5pm.
In addition, you can contact them via email or Facebook messenger.
Pricing
Profit Accumulator is the most expensive of the matched betting sites reviewed here (although it is still quite cheap in the grand scheme of things!). Here are the payment options:
- £20 for a monthly subscription
- £150 for an annual subscription (£12.50 per month)

Again, £20 is peanuts compared to what you’ll be making from matched betting, so don’t let that put you off if you like their service otherwise.
They do offer a free trial, but it is much more limited than the OddsMonkey free trial. Access the free trial here:
3. Profit Maximiser - Casino + Matched Betting Site
Profit Maximiser is a unique product that is a little different to the other sites discussed in this article. Rather than just offering a matched betting service, Profit Maximiser also shows you how to make money from online casino and bingo offers as well as financial spread-betting products.
Whilst OddsMonkey and Profit Accumulator do dabble in these areas, Profit Maximiser really excels here, including the medium and high risk (but still positive expected value) offers that the others shy away from.
Sound intriguing? Read on!
Matched Betting Tutorials
Profit Maximiser has fewer matched betting tutorials available than OddsMonkey and Profit Accumulator. The tutorials also assume at least some prior knowledge of how betting and odds work in general.
Don’t expect PM to hold your hand through the absolute basics. Beyond that point however, the tutorials are excellent, with multiple videos and text sections.
However, they don’t tend to go into quite as much detail as the other services. For most people, this won’t be a problem.

Promos
PM organise their bookmaker promotions into a daily calendar format.

You can filter the offers by no, low and high risk.

There seemed to be fewer matched betting offers available on the PM site relative to the others. You can tick the offers once you have completed them to prevent them from being shown to you again.
On the other hand, they do have a ton of casino offers. There are well over 50 casino offers in total.

For each of the casino offers, they recommend that you play the slot game which maximises the Return To Player (RTP), and they have a list of these for each online casino.

Odds Matching Software
Much like the other software options, PM has its own odds matching software.

It only covers horse racing, football and tennis, which is a bit of a disappointment, but otherwise it functions quite well. As you would expect, you can sort by time to match start, sport, betting market, odds, bookmaker and exchange.
Once you select a bet, you can open up a screen with a number of useful calculators that can calculate the optimal stakes based on the type of bet (stake returned, stake not returned etc).

I quite like this slider feature, where you can adjust your back/lay stakes and see the corresponding results in real time.

Betting Calculators
In terms of matched betting calculators, PM is quite limited. In addition to the calculator built into the odds matching software discussed above, it has a standard matched betting calculator (see below).

It doesn’t have any of the advanced calculators for particular bookmaker promotions like the other software packages do.
Community
PM has an outstanding community on Facebook. The group is secret and cannot be joined until you are a paying member.
PM owner Mike Cruickshank is very active in the group, as are many of the members. They share all offers they find, and try to help new members complete the offers too.

Customer Support
Mike is available by email, but the best place to reach him is in the Facebook group. He will get back to you quite quickly.
Pricing
Profit Maximiser does not offer a monthly subscription plan. Instead, you must purchase an annual plan for £97. You can also do a 14 day free trial for £1.
The annual plan has a 30 day money back guarantee.
You can access both of these via the button below:
4. Team Profit - Free Matched Betting
Team Profit are possibly the first free matched betting site! Rather than take a monthly subscription fee, they make their money from commissions they earn when you use their Betfair link.
This doesn’t cost you anything, so Team Profit is a great option if you are trying to do matched betting on a budget.
Matched Betting Tutorials
Team Profit have got a decent number of tutorials and guides to help you get started. They are all in the form of videos.
There are even a number of quizzes at the end of each section for you to make sure that you fully understand all of the concepts before moving on.

Promos
I really like the promos section of Team Profit. In addition to listing all of the signup and ongoing offers, they also list the expected value and the estimated time required to complete the offer.
From this, they calculate the estimated hourly rate you will be earning by doing this offer. This allows you to compare the various offers at a glance, and figure out which ones are worth your time. Offers can range from £2/hr to £30/hr, so it pays to be aware of the hourly rate!
I wish more matched betting software would do this.

In addition to standard sports offers, they also include games based offers (guess the number, free lotto etc).

More offers means more profit, so this is great.
Odds Matching Software
As I have mentioned earlier, odds matching software is one of the most important parts of any matched betting site. You need this to ensure that you are using your bonuses and promotions in the most cost effective manner.
Unfortunately, Team Profit does not have any odds matching software. This means that you will spend a lot of time checking back and forth between the bookmakers and the exchanges, trying to find a suitable bet to use your promotion on.
You are unlikely to find the best bet possible, meaning higher qualifying losses, and lower bonus bet retention (ie. lower profits). You will also spend more time to make less money!
Having no odds matching software is a major negative for Team Profit.
Betting Calculators
In addition to having no odds matching software, Team Profit also only has the most basic matched betting calculator.
Community
Team Profit has a community of over 30,000 members on Facebook. It is entirely free to join this group, so you may as well check it out!
Customer Support
In addition to the Facebook group, Team Profit can be contacted via email or live chat on their website. They aim to respond to all queries within 24 hours.
Pricing
This is the best part of Team Profit - it is entirely free! Considering this, you may as well sign up and give them a go!
As I mentioned earlier, their daily promos section is excellent, so you can use this in conjunction with a paid service if you like.
Check out Team Profit via the button below!
Best Matched Betting Sites - Conclusion
OddsMonkey and Profit Accumulator are the best matched betting sites for those in the UK. They have flawless tutorials and guides, constantly updated bookmaker promotion lists, and excellent odds matching software.
You will not be left wanting with either of these services. I highly recommend them.
If you would like to make money from a variety of casino offers in addition to matched betting, check out Profit Maximiser. They are the undisputed champions in this space.
Finally, Team Profit is an entirely free service! They have excellent video tutorials and their daily promos list is second to none. Unfortunately, they don’t have any odds matching software whatsoever, meaning that they aren’t really a true matched betting service.
You will have to manually search for the best odds yourself, resulting in wasted time and sub-optimal bets. This will greatly lower your profits in the long term.
For this reason, I don’t recommend using Team Profit outright, but in conjunction with another premium service.

Hi Luis
What about us who dont live in the UK?
I live in Denmark, which matched betting site do I use?
Hi Mads,
Unfortunately, I don’t know of any matched betting site for people in Denmark. Most people in Denmark do arbitrage betting or value betting instead. You can find out more about these here: https://thearbacademy.com/arbitrage-betting/ https://thearbacademy.com/value-betting/ I hope that helps!
