BetBurger has rapidly become one of the most popular arbitrage betting software on the market since its founding in 2015, so it is well overdue for me to take a look at it! Welcome to my BetBurger review!
BetBurger covers 82 bookmakers and a whopping 34 sports, so it has plenty of arbitrage bets on offer. It is also rich with arbitrage betting features.
But it also has a number of drawbacks that can’t be ignored.
So you may be asking yourself, is it really worth shelling out €100/month for the BetBurger pre-match arbitrage software?
Does it actually work? Will I be able to make enough to even pay for the subscription fee? How does it stack up against its competitors?
Well, let’s take a detailed look at BetBurger in this review and answer these questions and many more!
SUMMARY: Betburger not worth it - Get 50% off RebelBetting
If you don't want to read the full review, the basic summary is this - BetBurger isn't worth the price they demand, you are better off going with RebelBetting.
RebelBetting have generously agreed to offer 2 months for the price of 1 on their arbitrage and value betting software for readers of The Arb Academy!

What are the Most Important Factors When Choosing Arbitrage Betting Software?
Here are the most important things to look out for when choosing the best sports arbitrage betting software for you!
Price
There's no getting around it - arbitrage betting software can be very expensive!
Premium software can cost upwards of €100/month, so if you are only planning on making a couple of arbitrage bets here and there, it is unlikely that you will even be able to recover the cost of the software!
Consider how much time and starting capital you have to invest in arbitrage betting before deciding on a software package.
How many sports does it cover?
Some arb finders cover as few as 5 sports, while others cover as many as 35! No prizes for guessing which one produces more arbs for their customers…
Note, however, that the vast majority of arbs are produced by the world’s most popular 5-10 sports, so having loads of sports is not always that much of an advantage.
How many bookmakers does it cover?
This is an important one. More bookmakers means more arbs, more profitable arbs (more likely to find better odds with more bookmakers) but most importantly, more options for you to sign up to if and when your accounts eventually start getting limited.
More potential bookmakers means a longer career in sports arbitrage betting.
How quickly does the arb feed refresh?
Many arbitrage bets disappear within a few minutes of being discovered by the software packages. This means that it is imperative that you are getting access to the arbitrage betting opportunities as they are being discovered.
Integrated betting calculator
The arbitrage software should include a built in betting calculator that automatically calculates the necessary stakes for each leg of the arbitrage bet to ensure that you lock in the profit.
Ideally, they should include options for rounding your stakes to avoid suspicion with the bookmakers as well as biasing your stakes to favour a particular outcome that you believe has value.
Standard and advanced arb types
A good arbitrage betting software will include middles (negative and even Polish) as well as cross-market arbitrage bets.
These advanced arb types tend to last longer and be less easily detected by the bookmakers than standard arbs, so I highly recommend that you get software that can find them.
Defensive arbing features
As we have discussed many times, having your accounts limited or closed is one of the greatest risks for an arbitrage bettor. Some arbitrage betting software now have features to hide your arbitrage activity.
This can include separate dedicated web browsers only for betting (to stop the bookmakers tracking you via social media and other trackers) as well as automatic cookie and cache clearing at the start and end of each betting session.
Having these features will again prolong your career as an arbitrage bettor, so they are definitely worthwhile having.
Now that you know what you should be looking for in your arbitrage betting software, let's get straight into the BetBurger review!
BetBurger Review - How does it Stack Up?
BetBurger fares reasonably well on the criteria discussed above.
BetBurger | |
---|---|
Price (per month) | €100 |
Interface/ Speed | Poor |
Arb Types | Most |
Bookies | 82 |
Sports | 34 |
Here are the main pros and cons of the BetBurger software.
Layout and Interface
At first glance, the BetBurger layout is quite crowded. You do get used to it fairly quickly, but I can’t say that it is intuitive for first time users.
Potential arbitrage bets are displayed in the left half of the screen, and once you click on an arb, the details will be displayed in the panel on the right half of the screen.
You can see an integrated arbitrage betting calculator, as well as all the possible arbitrage opportunities for that match. It will show all the various bookmaker combinations, sorted by highest profit margin by default.
Bookmaker Odds Comparison
In my opinion, the way in which the various bookmaker odds are displayed and compared is a key part of any arbitrage software.
When the odds are displayed in a simple, easily understood manner it is clear:
- What order you should place your bets in
- What your backup options are if a particular bet is rejected
- Whether you can still form an arbitrage opportunity even if one bet is rejected
- How safe it is to pursue that particular arb
I think many people overlook the importance of this when choosing their arbitrage software.
When you are actually arbitrage betting with your own money, you need to be able to place a number of high stake bets in quick succession without making any mistakes with regards to the match (including time and location), teams/players, betting market, bookmakers and stakes.
Any mistakes here can be extremely costly.
BetBurger’s display and comparison of the bookmaker odds for a particular match is quite poor, honestly.
Rather than listing the various outcomes and the associated odds for each bookmaker, they try to list every possible combination of bookmakers that results in an arbitrage betting opportunity.
I find that this makes it difficult to know which order to place your bets in. It’s also difficult to know how safe an arb is and how much leeway there is if one leg of the arb is rejected.
Number of Arbs Found
Having a large number of arbitrage bets available at all times is key to ensuring that your capital is deployed and working for you at all times.
BetBurger covers an incredible 90 bookmakers (plus clones) and 34 sports! This is fantastic and means that you will realistically always have arbitrage bets available, no matter how strict your filters are.
The high number of arbs found is a major selling point for the BetBurger software and something I was pleasantly surprised by when doing this review.
When testing BetBurger simultaneously against the other major arbitrage software, I found that it was near the top of the pack in terms of number of arbs found.

Features
Arbitrage Bet Types
Arbitrage middles are fully covered by BetBurger, which is excellent. Middles are great because you can use them to disguise your arbitrage activity to the bookmakers and they also last longer than regular arbs, meaning that it is easier to take advantage of them.
Integrated Betting Calculator
The built in betting calculator is quite good, with customised stake rounding and the ability to enter the commission (if betting with an exchange).
It also has built in currency conversion, which allows you to calculate the stakes if you have two bookmaker accounts funded in different currencies (only recommended for experienced arbitrage bettors).
Filtering
BetBurger allows for filtering by bookmaker, match location (good for defensive arbing), arb types, outcome types (money line, asian handicap etc.) as well as many others, which is nice.
Arbs can be sorted by profit margin, age, time to match start and more.
ArbHelper Chrome Extension
You can download their ‘ArbHelper’ chrome extension which allows you to open the bookmaker websites directly from the arb hunting software.
It does this in a clever manner which ensures that the bookmaker cannot see that you are coming from BetBurger. There are a number of settings in the extension that you can tweak to make your activity look as normal as possible, and not anything like an arbitrage bettor.
This is very important, as one of the main risks in arbitrage is having your bookmaker accounts limited or closed.
By ‘flying under the radar’ with the bookmakers for as long as possible, you can prolong your career as an arbitrage bettor.
Tools such as the ArbHelper by BetBurger can help you with this. See more info about it here:

Does BetBurger have a Forum?
Yes, BetBurger does have a forum where you can discuss arbitrage betting strategies with fellow BetBurger users, learn how to make the most of the software, and give feedback to the BetBurger development team.
The forum is accessible here:
Pricing
BetBurger offers 3 different subscription plans.
- Prematch arbs for €100/month
- Live arbs for €190/month
- Prematch + live arbs for €240/month
Live arbing is an advanced strategy with higher risk but also higher potential reward, so I recommend that you stick with the prematch plan if you are still starting out.
Even so, €100/month for the pre-match option is still quite a hefty sum, especially if you are just starting out as an arbitrage bettor.
I recommend that you have at least €2,000 and a few hours a week to spend on arbitrage betting if you are planning on purchasing the BetBurger software.
Any less than this and you will struggle to make much profit after paying the monthly subscription fee.
Personally, for the same cost, I think that RebelBetting has a much better software package. You can read my full Rebel Betting review, or find out about the generous RebelBetting 50% off coupon!
For those who are just getting started and have little starting capital, Breaking Bet may be a more budget friendly option (full Breaking Bet review here).
Account Freezing
You can freeze your BetBurger subscription at any time. The freeze period must be a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 28 days.
It is not clear whether you can repeatedly freeze your subscription or if it is a one-time option.
If you want to see more information about BetBurger and have a free trial of the software, check out their website!
Is there a promo code?
At the time of writing, there are no promo or discount codes available for BetBurger unfortunately.
If they run any sales or promotions, I will link to the BetBurger website with the promo code embedded via the button below.
Customer Service
Unfortunately, Betburger seems to have quite poor customer service. I have contacted them a number of times and have found them to be uninterested in trying to solve problems I am having with their service.
This is a shame, as the other options like RebelBetting and BetOnValue have very helpful support teams that are quick to respond to your queries.
BetBurger Review - Conclusion
BetBurger is a fairly mediocre arbitrage software package that is for some reason priced at the premium end of the market.
They do cover a large number of bookmakers and sports which means that there are typically plenty of arbs on offer. However, their overall design is poor and it is often quite difficult to compare different odds and arbs with each other.
Due to this, the potential for error is quite high when you are placing your arbitrage bets, as it is easy to mix odds up and get confused. I find this unacceptable when you consider the high monthly price (€100) that BetBurger demands.
In saying that, I do like the ArbHelper chrome extension, which is a good weapon to have in your ‘defensive arbing’ arsenal. Access to middle arbs is a very welcome added bonus.
Overall, I think that you are better off steering clear of BetBurger and going with RebelBetting or BetOnValue instead. If you are still on the fence, I recommend that you take a free trial of their software to help you make up your mind.
