What Should You Consider When Choosing A Sure Betting / Value Betting Software?
Here are the most important things to look out for when choosing the best sports arbitrage betting software for you!
Price
There's no getting around it - arbitrage betting software can be very expensive!
Premium software can cost upwards of €100/month, so if you are only planning on making a couple of arbitrage bets here and there, it is unlikely that you will even be able to recover the cost of the software!
Consider how much time and starting capital you have to invest in arbitrage betting before deciding on a software package.
How many sports does it cover?
Some arb finders cover as few as 5 sports, while others cover as many as 35! No prizes for guessing which one produces more arbs for their customers…
Note, however, that the vast majority of arbs are produced by the world’s most popular 5-10 sports, so having loads of sports is not always that much of an advantage.
How many bookmakers does it cover?
This is an important one. More bookmakers means more arbs, more profitable arbs (more likely to find better odds with more bookmakers) but most importantly, more options for you to sign up to if and when your accounts eventually start getting limited.
More potential bookmakers means a longer career in sports arbitrage betting.
How quickly does the arb feed refresh?
Many arbitrage bets disappear within a few minutes of being discovered by the software packages. This means that it is imperative that you are getting access to the arbitrage betting opportunities as they are being discovered.
Integrated betting calculator
The arbitrage software should include a built in betting calculator that automatically calculates the necessary stakes for each leg of the arbitrage bet to ensure that you lock in the profit.
Ideally, they should include options for rounding your stakes to avoid suspicion with the bookmakers as well as biasing your stakes to favour a particular outcome that you believe has value.
Standard and advanced arb types
A good arbitrage betting software will include middles (negative and even Polish) as well as cross-market arbitrage bets.
These advanced arb types tend to last longer and be less easily detected by the bookmakers than standard arbs, so I highly recommend that you get software that can find them.
Defensive arbing features
As we have discussed many times, having your accounts limited or closed is one of the greatest risks for an arbitrage bettor. Some arbitrage betting software now have features to hide your arbitrage activity.
This can include separate dedicated web browsers only for betting (to stop the bookmakers tracking you via social media and other trackers) as well as automatic cookie and cache clearing at the start and end of each betting session.
Having these features will again prolong your career as an arbitrage bettor, so they are definitely worthwhile having.
Now that you know what you should be looking for in your surebetting software, let's get straight into the Surebet.com review!
Surebet.com Review - What are the Pros and Cons?
Surebet.com fares quite well considering the points discussed above.
Surebet.com | |
---|---|
Price (per month) | €25.90 |
Interface/ Speed | Moderate |
Arb Types | All |
Bookies | 200 (+300 clones) |
Sports | 65 |
Here are the main pros and cons of the Surebet.com software.
Layout and Interface
The Surebet.com interface is fairly simple and uncomplicated, although a little dated. The navigation bar at the top allows you to choose between surebets, middles and valuebets.
The next bar allows you to search for events directly, open the arbitrage betting calculator, convert odds to different formats, check how recently the bookmaker odds were updated, and finally access some arbitrage betting tutorials.
The menu on the right allows you to adjust the filters. This will ensure that the software only shows you the sure bets that you are interested in.
Number of Arbs Found
While testing the Surebet.com software, I was impressed by the incredible quantity of arbs it was able to find. It found 100,000+ arbitrage bets, and although many of these are different bookmaker combinations for the same arb, it is still a huge number.
This is largely due to the high number of bookmakers and sports that Surebet.com covers. 39 sports in particular is huge, and one of the highest I have seen in any arbitrage betting software.
Surebet.com Bookmakers and Exchanges
Surebet.com covers 85 bookmakers (plus plenty of clones), which is quite a decent number. It isn’t huge when you consider that BetBurger and RebelBetting cover almost 100 bookies, but it is still a decent number, especially considering the price.

Surebet.com Sports
Surebet.com covers the most sports of any arbitrage betting software that I have reviewed. 39 sports is massive and it allows them to offer a huge number of arbs.
In saying this, it’s probably not wise to be betting on too many obscure sports at the same time, as this may flag your account as being a sure bettor.

Features
Arbitrage Betting Calculator
Surebet.com has a nice integrated betting calculator that has all the features you would typically expect.
If you open the calculator from a particular arb, the software will automatically enter the odds and calculate your stakes for each leg of the arb based on a default total stake of 100 USD.
You can enter a custom commission percentage if one of the legs is with a betting exchange, and you can fix either the stake for a particular leg, or the combined stake for the whole arb.
The calculator also appears to have some currency conversion capabilities but when I tested it, it had difficulty distributing the profits evenly when doing currency conversion. You can choose to use either the Surebet.com currency exchange rates, or enter your own ones.
Unfortunately, there is no ability for the software to remember your preferred currency for each bookmaker, so that must be entered manually each time.
You can choose which legs to distribute the profit over if you think that one particular bet has a lot of value.
Finally, you can round your stakes to a custom value, but this value will be done for all legs of the bet, there is no way to change the rounding for soft and sharp bookmakers, which is a shame.
All in all, the Surebet.com betting calculator works reasonably well.
Odds Format Converter
The Surebet odds format converter is a simple and quick way of converting odds between the following formats:
- Decimal
- Fractional
- American
- Hong Kong
- Malay
- Probability (%)
Filtering
The filters for Surebet.com are fairly limited, but there are enough there to get the job done. You can save a few different profiles for your preferred filters, which is a nice feature.
To start with, you can sort your arbs based on:
- Age (time since arb was discovered)
- Start time (how long until the match begins)
- Profit
- ROI (return on investment - considers profit relative to start time)
You can filter the arbs by the number of legs involved (2 or 3), set minimum and maximum profit margins or ROIs, as well as the time until the start of the match.
It is also possible to hide arbs that will start within a certain number of minutes if you like (this is when prices change rapidly and it can be difficult to execute an arbitrage bet).
Finally, you can customise settings such as odds format and the number of results displayed per page.
Middles
Surebet.com includes full access to middles if you purchase their Professional+ plan, otherwise you can access middles up to 1% in expected value.
The middles part of Surebet.com is actually surprisingly well done. Each middle gives you a calculated value for expected value (EV), probability of hitting the middle, expected loss if the middle isn’t hit, and expected profit if the middle is hit.
The vast majority of middles that it finds are negative middles, so you’ll have to be comfortable with Surebet’s positive expected value calculation to take advantage of this.
Middles can be a good way to disguise your arbitrage betting activity from the bookmakers, so I recommend you try a few out (try to minimise your potential downside as much as possible though).
Languages
Surebet.com supports 9 different languages:
- English
- German
- Greek
- Spanish
- French
- Italian
- Portuguese
- Russian

Value Betting Software
In addition to their surebetting and middles software, Surebet.com includes a value betting module entirely for free.
Even if you just have a free Surebet.com account, you can access ALL of the value bets without any restrictions, which is quite generous of them.
For each value bet, the software lets you know the odds, the calculated ‘true’ probability of the bet succeeding, and the corresponding ‘overvalue’.
A higher overvalue means that the probability inferred by the odds set by the bookmaker are further from the true probability and therefore there is greater value for you to obtain by placing a bet here.
Value bets can be sorted by probability of success or overvalue.
It would be nice if there was a way to filter by markets, as many of the value bets are for quite obscure markets (such as the number of red cards in a football match), which may get your account flagged if done repeatedly.
Pricing
Surebet.com offers 3 different account tiers:
- Free
- Professional - €25.90 per month
- Professional+ - €27.90 per month
Note: Surebet are currently offering 10% off the first month for readers of The Arb Academy. Use the coupon code 'ARBACADEMY21' at checkout to access this discount!
The free version gives you unlimited access to value bets, which is very generous. The professional version adds on surebets, and the Professional+ version further adds on middles as well.
If you are only interested in doing value bets, the free version will be perfect for you!
If you would like access to surebets, €25.90 is quite an affordable monthly price in my opinion. You also may as well upgrade to Professional+ and get middles too for only an extra €2 per month.
Doing the occasional negative middle can help keep you under the bookmakers’ radars and prolong the life of your accounts - helping you make more money in the long run!
Surebet.com also offers generous discounts if you purchase extended subscriptions - a 3 month subscription costs €70 and a 1 year subscription costs only €180!
Conclusion - Surebet.com Review
Surebet.com is an excellent arbitrage betting service that is perfect for those who want to get started with sure betting without spending a lot on software.
At €25.90 per month, it will only take a few arbitrage bets before you have paid off the entire subscription fee. The rest is pure profit for you!
Free access to value bets is also excellent. Many other arbitrage betting software charge a hefty premium for value betting software, yet Surebet.com includes it entirely for free!
I recommend that you try their free trial and make your mind up from there.

How do i bet
If someone subscribe in a plan, will the percentage of the book markers increase?
do i have to register with with all these bookmakers individually to place bet, or i should only register with surebet to place bet with bookmakers through the surebet site?
Yes, you place the bets directly with the bookmakers, not through Surebet.com!
do i have to register with with all these bookmakers individually to place bet, or i should only register with surebet to place bet with bookmakers through the surebet site?
You need to register with the bookmakers directly to be able to place bets with them. Surebet just displays the odds on the bookmaker sites which can constitute arbitrage bets.
